We married 16 years ago today. My how things have changed & yet some things stay the same. We still are best friends & love being together but now we have two wonderful tagalongs on this life journey.
On this day, it stormed! Major rainstorm with lots of down trees and some people didn’t make it to our wedding because of the weather. Our wedding cake was late arriving because the bakery lost power and they had to use flashlights in order to see to decorate our cake. The cake made it to our church & was being set up while we were saying “I do.” Just a few of the memories. That’s what makes life what it is, the memories. I look forward to many more to come.

Home again

This was taken the evening after we golfed. We are home again and Chris will be getting started on lots of home projects. I’ll post photos as they are completed.

Golf Anyone

Mom doesn’t play but does enjoy driving the golf cart. Aysia & Dad warmed up on the putting green then on to the course. This was a nine hole course and we enjoyed ourselves. Aysia is about too tall for her clubs so I can see we’ll be needing new ones soon but at least Ian can use them (no one tease him about them being pink). From now on we’ll buy unisex colored clubs, live and learn.

Hiking & Fishing

We started out our day with hiking. I have a picture to show how it started and how it ended. We thought we saw poison ivy, kids got nervous and they had to wear their crocks which aren’t good for hiking.

Let’s Go Camping

We decided to give tent camping a try and we are glad we did. This is our camp site. Not too bad although we did not go without electricity. We enjoyed roasting marshmallows & watching a movie on our computer at bedtime. Lots of fun and I can see this being something we do again.
